The mangrove forests at OMAGIECA or the Obo-ob Mangrove Garden Integrated Ecotourism and Conservation Association is a community-based eco-tourism initiative. It is located in between Sta. Fe and the Bantayan town proper. This was referred to us by Ms. Nancy whom we met while roaming around the town plaza. At OMAGIECA, we went through elevated bamboo walkways that weave through the dense mangrove forest.
We are really amazed with the beauty of the place.
I feel so blessed to experience to be here.
There is an entrance fee cost Php 20 per head.
It was a challenge for me to walk on bamboo walkways because I got phobia on heights.
I was looking down the whole time and slowly walk on walkways.
This shot was taken by the caretaker who doesn't know how to use the cam.
He look to funny adjusting "himself" to make sure that all of us fits in the photo.
I was giggling all the time.

That's a rat's nest.. yeah "RAT's"
The miracle water.
It's not a type of water that heals wounds or any sickness.
It's called miracle water because it's the nesting grounds of the fishes.
See the blocks of rocks in the middle?
It's where the fishes lay their eggs.
So cool right? =)
Look? I got a flower for souvenir.

We already cross the first stop.
There is a bamboo house where you can take a rest.
You can imagine how happy we are.

So as we proceed to the garden...
Can't help myself saying WOW!
I only see these on movies.
Look how skinny the bamboo walkways... so scary!
Dead end?
That was the old walkways.
No need to worry.
